Marionberry jam is an Oregon favorite, and most out-of-towners don’t even know what a marionberry is! A cross between the Chehalem and the Olallie blackerries, the Marionberry was created in 1956 at Oregon State University and is favored over blackberries due to it’s bold, sweet flavor and fat, juicy berry. We cherish it for it’s uniqueness, and boy does it make an amazing jam!
